Eligibility Criteria for HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship
To be eligible, a student must:
- Be an Indian national
- Fall in the stipulated income bracket
- Provide relevant documents
- Not be a ward of HDFC Bank or Buddy4Study employees
- Meet the criteria for their education level:
- Class 9-12: Family income under Rs. 6 lakhs
- General UG: Family income under Rs. 6 lakhs
- Professional UG: Family income under Rs. 6 lakhs
Documents Required for HDFC Badhte Kadam Scholarship
- Passport-size photograph
- Marksheet of previous educational qualification
- Disability Certificate (only for students with disabilities)
- Government-issued identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License/PAN Card)
- Current year admission proof (fee receipt/admission letter/institution identity card/bonafide certificate)
- Applicant’s Bank Passbook or Cancelled Cheque (Information will also be captured in the application form)
- Income Proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch/Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
- Affidavit
- Proof of family/personal crisis (if applicable)
Benefits
The scholarship provides:
- Class 9-12: Rs. 15,000 (rural) or Rs. 20,000 (urban)
- General UG: Rs. 40,000
- Professional UG: Rs. 1 lakh
