West Central Railway has recently released a notification of West Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment inviting applications for engagement of 3015 apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. The online application process will commence on December 15, 2023 and conclude on January 14, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria for West Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment
Age Limit:
The candidates should be between 15 years to 24 years as on December 14, 2023. Age relaxation applicable as per government norms.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have passed Class 10 or its equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks.
And
They should also possess the National Trade Certificate in notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
Application Fee
- For General/OBC candidates: Rs 136 (Rs 100 as application fee + Rs 36 processing fee)
- For SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates: Rs 36 (processing fee only)

Selection Process
The selection will be based on merit which will be calculated using marks obtained in Matriculation (Class 10) plus ITI/Trade marks. Trade-wise and category-wise merit lists will be released. Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
